tonight on my way home i decided to have some fun and i got the car sideways and the WHEEL was spinning high in the r's. as i was open dif drifting my rear end made the exact sound that 2 way clutch type diffs make. only this sound was not suposed to be there. i think my diff is finally blown out, but if could be a suspension problem. anyone have some inputs?

with no clutches in it there is really nothing to blow but the spider gears and there is no "maybe" about that, you would know. It couldn't hurt to drain the diff and look for lil candy sprinkles from bustet gears or bearings.

When I destroyed my open diff it would bind up and felt like the trans was messed up. You may want to check on the condition of the bushings on the front part of the diff, where it bolt to the subframe.
