What is the MAF and where is it in the Q? What does it do? I've seen it refered to in other posts. I'd just like to what's being said when I read this.

MAF - Mass Airflow Sensor

Measures volume, density and temp of air entering the throttle body.

MAF is located between the throttle body and the air filter.

This thread reminds me. greg, didn't we at one time have a thread that had definitions for things like MAF, IAC, CAS, etc. and explained them for n00bs and people who forgot? If not, I'll make one. w00t, another article!

The CAS is basically a modern version of a distributor... You can rotate it to change the timing advance... just no spark plug wires or coil wires coming out to the plugs.
