Stupid mistake... how critical is it?

A rebuilt KA24DE just went back into my 93 convertible... but i forgot to put the rear plate (A/T) between the engine and transmission.

Everything else went back to gether without any major issues and the car runs & drives fine.

Can i continue to run it like this? Or am i looking at doing damage to something (engine, transmission, TQ converter) over time?

dunno, the only thing i can think of might be the starter and the flex plate. starter might engage too far to where it bends the flex plate.
