Just got new flips ups (used) + motors (used). My old ones didn't work, or so I thought.

Hooked them up, long story short, the lights only flip up when I turn on highbeams, or push the button in the dash. They don't go down at all unless I manually turn them with the nob on the motor. Also, the passenger side light only flips up half way, whereas the driver side flips up all the way.

I read some threads on here about the lights not going down, and only working with highbeams and the button, so I'm sure I can fix that. The main problem I'm lookin at is the passenger light going up only halfway, any ideas?

possibly a bad headlight switch?

I used to have a bad headlight switch... it caused only one of my headlights to pop up and only one light would turn on...

you sure all the connectors are secured/ grounded?

I'm referring to the actual combination switch itself.
