Stupid Grand am

Ok before I say this I just want to say that I do not condone street racing or gambiling and advise not to do this unless your in a controlled environment with protection.

Ok now this stupid grand am pulls up next to my 75 malibu last night and he's like how many cars do you need. I'm like What? He says how many car lengths do you need. I say what do you mean. He says I'll show you when this light turns green you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. At that point I know what he's talking about and sure enough he floors it, and I hear his little mitsubishi motor reving up and I'm barely touching the gas. Then I decide to quit playing with him and floor it and left him (not only did I pull away from him I left him like he was standing still). at the next light I look over to him and say what was that about 3 car lengths. He's like yeah that was about 3 and then turns and slowly drives away.

Now I could understand if he tried to race me in the 240 (not that it's slow. but more in his range of racing) But how is he gonna pull up to an obviously-faster-than-his-car, car and try to race. I tell ya some people just don't think. I wish I bet him for his title then he really would've been upset.

Well GM buys all there 4 bangers from mitsubishi. Ford buys there v 6's from mitsubishi as well. The explorers and what-not are mitsubishi.

Ah... I knew Mitsu made the electronics and ECUs for many Ford and Mazda vehicles.... I didn't realize they were building the engines for Ford and GM as well. Weird ...

I didn't know mitsu made 4.0 litre sixes for ford if i had to say so id say your full of crap. Mitsu makes 4 bangers for dodge because dodge owns mitsu. Ford makes engine for mazda because they own mazda but im pretty sure the two totally different companies would not do that. And the grad am is a gm car and the grand am comes with a 3.8 litre v6 or a 3.1 in the non se

Mitsu makes a 3.0 litre like what is in the eclipse.

I just looked it up and i was wrong 2.2 litre 4 and a 3.4 litre 6 on the grand am

The Dodge Stratus RT also has the Mitsu 3.0L and the matching transmission.

I learned my self when I bought an explorer and when it broke down I had to order a part from japan ( I think) Then I did some more research. And found the horrifying truth about American cars.

thats pretty damn funny. i love when guys are so ****y that they think they can beat anything they pull up next to. I was turning onto 121 from legacy yesterday and this guy in a GTP was also turning from Stonebriar onto Legacy and i wasnt going to let him get in front of me, but he just barely gave it any gas and it took off. thats when i saw the SLP stuff on it. i must admit, other than a SC'd maxima, thats the only other big FWD SC'd car id drive.
