This probably has a better place to be, but...I'm tired and my karma's messed up (another way of saying I'm mad as hell).
I try to be reasonable. I know that not everyone can be the perfect driver, and that everyone gets a bit frustrated when waiting for 200 cars to pass them before driving onto a large road. However, I'm getting kindof pissed at being pulled infront of five or more times a day. Call me a prude if you may, or overcautious, but my checkered driving past (two accidents, two unrelated citations in the last year) has lead me to a relatively mild-mannered driving style. I may accelerate rapidly, powerslide through some turns when I know that I am completely alone (can't drift, because I have a fwd car atm), and speed a bit now and then, but when I'm in traffic I look before I switch lanes, wait until I know that when I pull into traffic I won't slow down the person behind me excessively, and follow cars with enough room that if they were to slam on their breaks, I would have time to react accordingly (in other words, a hell of alot more than 20 feet).
Thusly, I get pissed to hell when eight different people cut me off every time I get into my car, everyone around me follows with obviously inadequate distance, and the person behind me keeps trying to let our bumpers kiss.
I may sound like a maniac in this, but everytime someone cuts me off, I hope that they give me a situation where I cannot react quickly enough, and drive my euroslut (vw jetta) through their freakin' lap.
Everytime someone tailgates me, I hope that I have a reason to slam on my breaks and send my *** right through their forehead. (hell, I already slow down as much as possible, esp. on backcountry highways with double yellow lines)
Everytime someone changes lanes without signaling (around 100 everytime I go through town, at most a small exaggeration) I feel like ramming their freakin' soccermommobiles.
Does noone have any freakin' sense at all when they're in their automobiles?
