That sucks, sorry to hear that. Where I live, in the spring/early summer if I go out at dusk I always 100% of the time see deer... there are so many of them around here its scary, alot of the people I know have hit them, so far I have always managed to avoid them but plenty of close calls. They can really mess your car up.

Ignore him. He's a callous dumbass.

Good luck with the repairs/dealing with insurance.

I hit 2 deers, my airbags went off, and I fixed the car myself(minus paint & A pillar damage). Im getting ready to my 5 year mark with no claims, so I wasnt going to claim this unless I had too. I plan on driving the Versa until its not worth anything anyway.

uhhh.. you know that hitting a deer, with 99% of insurance companies is covered under your comprehensive coverage, and you don't even need to pay your deductible...You could have had it fixed for free..

I didnt want to risk it being counted as a claim against me in any way at all. With my insurance company, when I hit 5 years with 0 marks, its drops majorly. Enough that ill make up the difference of fixing it myself, in less than 2 years.
