I searched and read about replacing your front main seal. I got everything until unbolting the crank pulley bolt. I put it in 5th gear with handbrake on and the sucker moved every time I rotated it. It moved in all gear. Any tip?

Have someone press on the brakes and you should have some better luck.

Ever think of a strap wrench? I have one that holds up to me torquing the crank pulley to 110 ft lbs. It has been great multiple times. You need a special one though with a high tensile strength. I got mine at a local auto parts store.

I tried all gears...I might look into stepping on the brake and strap wrench. Honestly I never heard of that tool but will look into it OM3GA.
