Ok i was driving on the interstate and i was lighting a cig. all of a sudden i hear a smash like i ran into something i was going about 75 mph. so i pull over quick walk around my car and nothing is wrong. Then i think o well just a pot hole. Well i drive for like 1 mile then my temp goes way way up. i was like o ****. so i get out and look in under my hood...... There it was. i hit a cat and it when up and smashed its head threw my entire radiator. I HATE CATS. (o i own 2 cats my self heheh)

i hit a family of racoons (sp?) a few months ago. A mother was leading her babies across the road, and i got like 3 or 4 of them...only going about 45 tho, but no damage to my car.

that's weird, i haven't hit any animals, cars, people, or anything in the 10 months or so that i've been driving. i know some people that have been in 10+ wrecks though.

There's an edit button, but yeah i don't like seeing dead animals, nor hitting them. Haven't hit one animal yet. But that must have been disgusting cleaning a cat out.... ...on the other hand i don't like cats at all....

I had a dual 4" ramair system on my GranSport where the ducts were below the bumper in a deep "lip spoiler". Whenever the WOT sound changed I'd have to dismantle the aircleaner box and remove the birds... She ate at least 20 birds in 4 years.

I hit a chicken (yes, a damn chicken) on I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix... at 100 mph. Nothing but a "poof" of feathers as it "hopped" to grille-level right before impact...

I had a stupid bird fly straight into my windsheild while i was going 80 down a highway. I just saw the ****er flip around in their behind me like it was shot down. No damage though.

The other night I also came across a deer on the highway which had been demolished by a trunk or something. I"m tellin u, at least 40-50 feet of deer guts strewn accross the road. I ran over lots of guts and parts and nearly ran over the deer at the end of the ****. It happened real fast and was the nastiest thing i've ever seen, poor deer. Anyways, i spent all day the next morning cleaning deer guts off the side of my car and in the wheelwells. ewww

Nah i prefer not hitting animals... even though my friend purposely tries running them over. (rip lil squirrel)

i try to avoid hitting animals, but when i was 15 i hit a squirrel, front and rear tires! i would try to hit a duck, though. there's a bunch of ducks in my neighborhood that stick around all year round. even though my house is 100 yds from the pond the ducks go in my yard. one morning there was duck crap all over my car, so i will not hesitate to hit one.

i'm always on the lookout for animals on the road. especailly ones that have heads about 10 inches above the ground. from the day i picked up my car i've always had the thought that i'm driving around with a guilotine (sp) [89 240 with no lower lip extension]. i really don't feel like pulling parts of animals out of my rad.

also 'specialkonrd'. who is your buddy who hit the coon? i know a guy in vancouver (bc) who did that.

true stories of the highway patrol. clearing out that cat must've been nasty as hell. I guess it could've been worse, you could've hit a skunk.....
