So, I've washed my car a couple of times and this is what happened to my upper billet grille. Grr!

Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Looks like paint failure more than fading.

it was cheap on ebay. I guess I'll just buy some better ones.

Just buy a new grille or revert back to the oem grille. :)

So, I think I might just sand and repaint. It will give me a project to do. Is it ok to use Rusteloum Black Spray Paint + the Clear Coat? If another brand is better, let me know. I don't want it fading in the future. Also, what grade sand paper should I use to sand it down first and could I use the wet sand paper?

I've always used duplicolor on my projects and had good results. For sandpaper you probably want to start with an 80 grit, then 140, and finish with a 220. Need to primer first, then paint, then clear. You can wet sand between coats of paint if you need to smooth out the finish, otherwise i wouln't worry about wet sanding. If you are going to wet sand you will probably want a higher grit like a 400.

I'm just an amateur painter though. Someone with more experience may have better advice.
