Got to remove it tonight, by swapping in an amplified antenna. They mount on the front windsheild, behind the rear view mirror. Better reception, no stupid antenna. As you well kno my 89 never retracted, even if it did it would still be broke, just like my 91's

It adheres to the glass. It is very small, yet gives me better reception than stock. Plus the antenna is stupid.

I have one also. Car looks so much better without the stupid factory antenna on it.

Metra makes them. Just go to your favorite car audio place and ask for an internal antenna. I think they are around $20 or so.

Yea mine was 19.99 and was at advance auto. I didnt think it would work very good. Very impressed. It is the small things
