so my car won't start.

if i leave my battery charged overnight it will start my car. but after i start it once, it won't start my car again. battery voltage at this point reads 10-10.5ish.

i have had my alternator checked out by autozone, advanced, and a generator shop.

i have had the starter replaced with another used unit that tested good.

i have replaced my altima redtop with a new battery

my battery is in my trunk, and i have ohmed the battery cable out to make sure that there was not a short to ground, (i do have it on a 150amp fuse though).

so i am a little stumped at this point. any ideas?

At full charge you get 12.7v.Sounds lake a draw that needs traced. You can also do a voltage drop test but it will be hard to run the test leads from the battery in the trunk to alternator. Actually impossible i'd think.

well after following the rule of checking everything a third time, i determined that my replacement optima redtop that i bought from advanced was bad. took it back to them, they exchanged it, now it starts every time. at least today. who knows what it will do tomorrow.

now i just need to find out why i keep fouling my Bkr6eix-11 spark plugs.
