Stumbling before warm up?

My CA boggs, stumbles and runs like total crap until it warms up. Its not really that big a deal, just let it warm up for 2-3 minutes and it runs perfect. I know CA's are known for being difficult when they are cold but is it usually this bad? I can't seem to find whats causing it, no codes, no other problems at all, A/F ratio tests in mode 1 and 2 check out, etc.

You have a faulty AIV. It's the grayish-colored funny looking piece a tad bit below the T-body. They do go bad and cause the symptoms you complain of.

I caution all of you, don't be uttering worthless parts. You all better make sure you test that thing and test it the way it is supposed to be tested because it is a sensitive part that fails for no apparent reason. Even if he is paying pennies on the dollar, make sure it works because I'd hate to emailing one of you for selling garbage parts.

Its funny to me because my car stumbles, stutters, and has one hell of a time trying to start up. The exact same symptoms you listed but when my FICD or AIV sensors become unplugged, the car will either stop running or run even crappier

It does this because the bi-metal plate gets stuck 1/4 or 1/2 open which is the reason why it stumbles and act stupid. And when you unplug it, you gets nothing but a stalled engine.

NOT RIPPING ON DEE, but I bought a used one from him (good price too) and no change. You can use one from a B13 SE-R and they are about $92 + tax and shipping from the dealer. I will be buying a new one as soon as my new debit card arrives in the mail.
