Hey,

The other day i got in my car after a big rain storm and i went to roll down my windows and my passenger side window did not roll down.. I took the door off and checked the connections and i still cant find the problem. Any ideas would be great. btw this is on a 96 240

There could be many probs,First take two long wires and hook them to the battery,One on pos and one on neg! After that take the door panel off nad unhook the wires that are clossest to the hing ,Should only be two of them on a conector ,Take the 2 wires that u hooked to the battery and put the on the metal pieces on each wire that runs in the door, thats the motor wire ,If u switch the two u will go the opposite direction ,If all thats fine then it may be ur switch,But if all thats not ok then it will be ur motor. Let me know how u first step goes

If its the motor i have an extra im selling cheap ,From my 95

i took out my voltmeter and i get power through the wires or i did. then i took a little wire and made a quick contact between the two and nothing happened. now i get hardly any power. i cant find the fuse that is for power windows or locks. but i pulled a bunch and they were all good still
