Sometimes when i come to a complete stop and accelerate after my throttle gets stuck and I have to slam on the gas pedal in order to get the car moving again. Does anyone know the cause for this? I've found some post that recommend cleaning the throttle bodies but i just did that a couple of months ago.

There is a PVC tube on the top valve cover right by the throttle bodies. Often it comes loose and works it's way out binding on the TB parts. Just open the TB's by hand and watch next to them.

Also it can be a worn throttle cable

I had the same problem, I would go to accelerate and the gas pedal would get stuck because the driver side PCV pipe was catching on the throttle body. I zip tied it and has not happened since.

I have been having the same issue with my 300zx. I'm going to definitely try taking a closer look tonight at the T/B and the physical pedal area, because the pedal sticks even with the car off. So i'm hoping it's a minor issue.

This is an easy fix.Just clean out your throttle bodies with a toothbrush or wire brush(make sure it can fit into the TB) and some carb or throttle body cleaner and do what they said about the PVC thingy.

Hmmm... cleaned out the T/Bs, and no difference. I can't see it stuck anywhere... the PVCs i'm not noticing having a problem. I suppose i could post a pic tomorrow of the assembly... maybe there's just something i'm not seeing...
