My sister borrowed my car years ago and the speedometer got stuck at 80 mph. What is the best way to reset the speedo? I have a new cable, but I don't know if the new cable will reset the needle.

That may be the gauge itself. If you still have the old speedo cable, you could insert it into where it goes on the back and spin it hard. Or a tap? If not, ebay may be your friend...
