Ok couple of questions.
1. My idler sprocket bolt won't go back in like it won't catch the bolt has never been taken out ? What should I do.
2. I'm trying to turn my motor to tdc do the belts need to be off to do so?
3. Does that affect my bolt from not going in? And how do I loosen the belts for them to come off. Please any advice is welcomed I just want my car back I never drove it and I'm eager.

The motor will turn over with the belts attached; however, it will be easier to get tdc with the head off. If I recall correctly, they're interference motors, so the valves may prevent you from finding tdc.

The only thing I can think of with the idler sprocket is that it's not quite lined up. Perhaps the lower chain is providing just enough tension to keep you from pulling it into alignment? The position of the motor won't affect sprocket from bolting up.

Hope it helps some, if I seem to have misread what you were saying, just let me know.

I'm not trying to start it I'm just trying to get the motor at tdc. All the videos and pics I've seen the belts have been off. If so how do I get the belts off. And about the idler sprocket should I just pull it up more to get the bolt in?

For the belt on the power steering pump, you have to loosen up the hinge bolt it's on. Then, there's the bolt that keeps the adjuster from moving. You'll see it on the bottom left of the PS pump. It'll be in a slotted bracket. The long bolt just behind the bracket will actually relieve the tension on the belt.

The one for the alternator is pretty much the same, just mirrored onto the right side of the motor.

The AC belt tensioner is easiest to get to from under the car. It's just a pulley that sticks straight down. Loosen the center bolt, then use the bolt on the end to adjust the tension on the belt.

And yeah, I'd see if you can pull it up just a bit more. For mine, I kind of had to "roll" it into place. By "roll" I mean rotate it(with the chain on it of course) clockwise while pulling up. Trying to use the chain to push that tensioner back a bit.

So am I taking the bolt that's hold it on off? Or the long screw that goes through it. A pic would be help ful.

The first one is the adjustment bolt on the side of the PS pump and the second is the jam nut to keep it all in place. The alternator is similarly set up, but on the top. Don't forget to loosen up the hinge bolt on both the PS pump and the alternator.

Sorry for the delay, I got quite busy yesterday.
