So afterI finished my auto to manual conversion on my s13 I went to fire my car up and she jerks back.. Wtf I cant seem to get it out of reverse so I jack the rear tires up and turn the key and she starts right up but she is stuck in reverse and I cant pop it out of gear.. only thing left to do iw bleed the slave cylinder I just wanted to get some Ideas on what my problem might be... Maybe I dont have any pressure in my clutch pedal might be the problem but I will find out asap

whether you push the clutch in or not, with the car off, you should be able to get it out of reverse. Get another friend, both of you grab on and pull the shifter out of the gear if you can.

Pull the clutch slave off the side of the trans and see if the clutch fork will move. I'll bet the pivot ball is broken and you've got some binding/load on the input shaft, preventing it from coming out of gear.

I know it slid fine before I put it on but i dont think I can move the fork now so would I have to pull the trans either way?

Not neccisarily. Pull the cluth slave off the side of the transmission and see if u can move the clutch fork for sure. Don't try it till you pull the clutch slave.

Where and/or who did you buy the transmission from? If you bought it off someone not reputable, you may have gotten screwed on a failed CA bellhousing to KA gearbox conversion. Try to do what the guys tell you to do, but if that transmission looks like it has fresh silicone sticking out, you got played. Hope I'm wrong and the guys are right on this one.

Its actually my old trans from my last s13 that has been sitting in my shed for the past year I dont know what happened since then but it worked perfectly fine when I pulled it. So I went to check it out earlier today and I got pressure in my slave cylinder and the clutch fork moves fine but when the shifter feels like its in neutral its actually in reverse and if I put it into what should be first or second and try to move the car it bogs and stalls out.... Im losing my mind on this I really dont want to swap bellhousings as I dont feel up to the task I just hope its something simple.
