Stuck in 2nd......HELP

Ok, I have a 1989 240SX SOHC Auto. Trans.It starts off in 2nd gear and doesn't shift up from there.I can manually put it into 1st but other than that it won't do it.Please Help Me Thanks In Advance....

Most likely needs to be rebuilt. do the 5 speed swaporget a transmission from someone on nico in the forums - you could prolly find a auto very cheaporhave a local transmission shop rebuild it.

Are you getting any AT codes. Check your AT codes. If the trans is in fail safe it will be stuck in 3rd gear (are you sure its 2nd gear?).

Also, I had a Q guy have the exact same problem and it was a TPS. Take that FWIW.
