Ok, I have a 1989 240SX SOHC Auto. Trans.It starts off in 2nd gear and doesn't shift up from there.I can manually put it into 1st but other than that it won't do it.Please Help Me Thanks In Advance....

Sounds like your TCS could be fungooed.

Sounds like the trans is in failsafe.It will go into 3rd gear in manual D and 2nd,and 2nd when in manual 1st.Get the codes from the T.C.M.

where is the tcm/tcs located at?
