Stuck gear?

Hey guys,

I recently bought a beat up 240sx for really cheap just because I hate to see cars like this and I love to fix them up. Anyway, it was in an accident and was put together half ***. The whole front end is new, but the paint job was like 10x's worse than the worst paint job you can think of. ROFL It's an 89 Auto, I know :-( but the engine only has 92,000 on it, so that is why I got it, especially for $600. Anyway, the purpose of this post is to ask you about the transmission. I have never been in a 240sx Auto, but I am guessin there is something definatly wrong with the transmission because it doesnt shift. Its almost like its stuck in 4th gear, but it starts fine, drives fine, and the RPM's aren't too high at high speeds, but I thought they were a little off. Just was wondering if anyone else experienced this, it is the strangest thing I have ever driven. Anyway, it works fine, so for now I am just worrying about the paint job. Thanks for any suggestions
