So there are 4 bolts holding my turbo onto my exhaust manifold and my turbo has a fatty exhaust leak and needs to come off. The problem is that the bolts are in a really tight spot. It takes either a 14mm or 15mm but the bolt is too close to the turbo to have a socket fit around it and there is no room to use a wrench.

What can I do? Please any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you,-Matt T.-

Did you try an offset (aka obstruction) wrench? A crowfoot wrench with a 3/8 socket might fit too.

if its an SR or KA these are much easier to do after removing the exhaust manifold and turbo together then separating the turbo/manifold. use a nice open end wrench that wont spread and round off the nut

I got it on when I rebuilt my engine (all 4 pistons ring landings blew) and so there was a lot more space to work.

Thanks guys I think I will try removing the exhaust manifold and getting at it that way because I don't have any obstruction wrenches. Hopefully there will be more room to get to the manifold though.

The only option that you have is to remove the manifold from the engine and then work on the turbo.
