Stuck antenna on 99 1/2 QX4

The power antenna on my 99 1/2 QX4 started to go down when I turned off my car, but stopped about 1/3 of the way down and it sounds like the gears or something is slipping. After a few seconds the motor stops. I tried cleaning the mast but that did not help.

try lubricating it with WD40. Let it penetrate. It might work. It does the trick on my J.

I tried the WD 40, but it did not help. May need to replace antenna. Does anyone know of a good place to but a used one and how difficult is it to install?
