Can anybody help me I feel like there's no end to the cams shifting belt jumping b**** a** timing belt ... I've tried to put the belt on several time. Can someone run me thru the process on how the timing belt installment works with relations to the auto tensioner and any tips or is there hidden tricks on how to put it on ? Another question does it matter if the belts on time slightly off but the teeth count is correct ? N does rasing or lowering the intake manifold help at all ? Thank you in advance .. I'm in serious need z community

I always use clamps or vice grips to hold the timing belt to the cam gear. Get the mark lined up and use a c clamp or a vice grip to lock the belt to the gear, not enough to really squeeze the belt but just enough to keep the belt from jumping teeth while you are trying to line everything else up.
