My family's 1994 Q45a has been ours for about 4 years and in the past year weve had to replace then engine then replace every fuel injector about twice and it still doesnt work like it supposed too. By supposed to i mean go when i tell it to GO. We have another q45 that works like it supposed to. The Problematic Q45 seems like the power doesnt meet the tires its like the wheels dont notice that there is 4500 rpms waiting to meet the ground. Any other similar problems with your q45,

Interestig that you have two of the same year - can't get much better of a comparison than that! Your non-active Q should be a little faster since it's lighter - but nothing as different as you mention. What caused the engine failure and injector failures? Who did the work and engine swap, what type of engine (used, new, reman) etc? Have you had injector problems with your other Q? Do they get similar maintenence and gas from the same stations?

There's definately a mechanical reason for the difference, but you need a really good Q experienced tech. to figure it out. I wouldn't rule out a trip to T3 as a good alternative to end all of the B.S. you've dealt with so far...

Get the "problematic" Q to a dealer and drop $100-$150 on a full Consult diagnostic. Post the results here and we'll help you get her fixed!

p.s. Welcome to NICO, sachmo!

could be sooo many things, and like everyone said, a consult is probobly the only way to go to take the $$$$ and guesswork out of a diagnose. from your other post, might be looking for an experianced tech. i had my guides done by the tech in the link from your other post. very satisfied with his work, and jersey isn't all that far from you..... would be glad to help with any questions!!!jeff

If the transmission works, it should be at the same speed as the other one at 4500 rpm if it is in the same gear.
