i was wondering where i could get some j30 struts that are less than $2000. The dealer quoted me that price and I was just wondering if i could get after market struts or do they have to be infiniti brand name? HELP!!!

By the way, you drive an Infiniti with an i, not a y as the last letter.

Also, struts are something any mechanic can do. Take the car to an independent...after you get the parts from one of our sponsors.

The only struts out there for the J are the OEM units. As the other guys have said, order the parts from one of our sponsors and go to a good independent shop. Still not super cheap but you will save considerably. Also get all the rubber bits and pieces.
