I'm in desperate need of struts and shocks and soon tires. I was wondering for the rear, there's a rubber bushing that sits within the spring and it came loose. Can I get that from Infiniti when I go to replace the shocks in the back? Also, what are some really quiet tires that I could get and also capable of off road if need be and keep a sophisticated look of a luxury SUV?

The rubber item sounds like the bump stop. New ones should be available from Infiniti and probably some aftermarket sources. I haven't had experiences with many tires, sorry.

marioc89,

I had a good experience with Yokohama tires. They are quiet and not very expensive, you can probably buy them from America's Tire http://www.americastire.com/dtcs/search ... =16&cs=255

As far as the rear shocks for the truck those are very easy to replace, you should be able to replace them yourself. These are the recommended OEM replacement for you truck and not cost prohibitive http://www.amazon.com/KYB-343379-Excel- ... kyb+343379

As for the front struts you are going to need someone to do it for you.

I put the KYB Excel G struts on my 2000 Pathfinder. They are terrible.extremely stiff for a very harsh ride. I was told that the rattle for lack of a better term in front was probably struts and/or mounts. Replaced struts and mounts and now noise and feel is worse. A little more research seems to indicate that the problem is front sway bar links. None the less I strongly advise against the purchase of these struts!
