Struts and rubber components for '95 Q

I'm looking to replace the struts and all the rubber components on a '95 Q45 but I would rather not spend the $500+ if I can find a decent set of aftermarket struts. I have tried the Tokico's but there a little hard for my liking has anyone found other brands to be of decent quality and possibly cheaper (KYB, Koni)? I'm going to replace the rubber components also and I have seen some companies sell those parts but are they good enough given the money I may save.
