Strut tower recall- alignment needed?

Hello. I'm having my strut tower repaired due to the recall on a 2001 pathfinder. My question is do they need to do an alignment as well. The dealership is telling me no. And I want to make sure that they aren't trying to screw me. Also if they are suppose to is there anything I can do if they refuse.

they need to do the fuel filler line (tube?) recall as well...

The fuel filler recall is fairly old. If it's been to the dealer in the past 7 or so years it should have been done already.

I'm not sure if alignment is required. Perhaps if the vehicle is sagging or there are other complications due to corrosion. Maybe give 1-800-NISSAN1 about it to see what they say regarding alignment after the repair.

As far as I know, there is no alignment required.
I had the recall done last year.
Although mine was OK and didn't have any damage (thanks to undercoating my truck every year), they still did the basic repair where they coat/patch the affected areas with goop, or something like that.
Not sure exactly what they did to be honest, but it looks brand new and clean under there.
Also, it didn't drive any differently when completed. It's still rock solid up front. I was one of the lucky ones.

If they remove the strut or any other suspension component during the repair, then yes; otherwise, no.
