STRUT TOP OUT! >=(

so i lifted my pathy....b4 anyone asks its not completely done so ill post pics later...anyway, i got the rancho struts from 4x4parts....and they top out so easy its not funny. so i emailed 4x4parts and asked them if the kyb struts wud work better, they say both the rancho and kyb struts have the same hight, compression, and extension as the factory struts. so idk wut to do. does anyone here who has the lift installed on their pathy have the kyb struts and have no problems, or am i stuck living with the struts topping out? help =0

struts topping out is a known and well-documented issue after installing the AC lift. you should have done more research beforehand.

oh believe me i asked almost every question i cud think of, but no one ever told me about the strut top out issue. but if its a known issue then theres reall nothin can do about it. hey alex u ever fit those 34's on yur pathy like u wanted to,and where'd u get yur roof basket? i been wanting one but cant seem to find one.

the struts top out but it doesn't really seem to damage anything except your ear drums. mine doesn't top out so much because i sit comparatively low in the front, due to the extra 200lbs from the winch/bumper.

i confirmed the 34s fit, but i'm only running 33in KM2s now because i couldn't pass up a deal on a set of barely used 285/75 BFG KM2s.

the roof basket is a Rola Vortex. i got it from eBay for $250 shipped, including the 18in extension.
