I definitely need new struts and springs. Front left strut pops when I make a tight right turn, not all the time but alot.

I did ALOT of digging around with the search button and decided that tokico blue hp struts are my best option, dont need the adjustable ones. KYB GR-2's would be alright, same cost but tokico had better/more reviews.

Now, im on a budget (wasn't expecting this problem) so I think i'm gonna go with maxspeed springs, their about $100 compared to eibachs which are about $250. Does anyone recomend a different set? I would like to keep it to about a 1.5 inch drop, and cheap. If $50-100 would make a enourmous difference I might be swayed to those.

Also, to do the install I think all I will need are new boots, and a spring compressor from auto zone. Besides tools, anything else?

Does anyone know of a cheaper price than $350 for tokico struts? Been lookin on ebay. Anyone got a cheap source for springs? $100 is from ebay again.

Also I replaced my wheels and tires today, and now have a whirring noise which seems to come from the front right. Noise wasnt there before the wheel/tire swap. FYI, I replaced some 18" chrome rims with bald mix maxed tires for kazera kz-k black rims with general exclaim uhp's, 235-45-17. Anyone know what is causing the noise? In addition to the noise another problem that wasnt there before. During acceleration or braking the air condition will seem to stop blowing so hard, i have it on 4 and seems to dip down to 2, then pick back up. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

Will I also have to get the car re-aligned? Car has abot 115k miles if it matters to anything.

I'm also thinking I need to replace the cv shaft.

Definitely need to replace the cv axles. Both of the inner boots were toast. Looks like autozone has a brand new set of cv axles, 60 for the right and 65 for the left, with no LSD, which according to my midel id# i dont have a LSD. Any reason not to go with the brand new set of duralast cv axles?

I have progress springs on mine with blues. I'm very happy with the springs, they could be a bit stiffer from a handling stand point but not bad, only spring I would swap out to is eibach.

The blues on the other hand. I really wish I waited and bought good shocks, but I did get these for a steal (about 140 shipped for all 4). They are ok if you just want a decent ride. But I push my car pretty good thru the back roads around here. I need something else. At the moment I plan on going with shortened Konis.

Raxle axles are very very nice. I have one sitting in my garage waiting to go in.
