I tagged this question onto another thread but I don't think it's been noticed. I'm about to replace my struts and I noticed the strut mount sold here https://www.4x4parts.com/catal...d=776 seems to include the strut insulator, the strut bearing, & some type of metal washer or nut. At Nissan everything seems to be sold seperately... so which parts should I get from them to replace if I go with OEM?

I'm also replacing the shocks. My PF is a 2001 with 111,000 miles. Is there anything else in the suspension that probably needs replacement & how can I tell?

OEM Nissan strut mount and bearing, is the way to go. Theres been a lot of warnings to stay away from the KYB replacement (which is sold on 4x4parts.com without listing the name)

Dont get me wrong, KYB probably mkes the best struts for our cars, but for the strut mounts and bearings it'd probably be best to go OEM

I've heard that also, but when I started looking at the OEM parts it's broken down into individual pieces... unlike the KYB "bundle." When you get a chance check out this link http://www.courtesyparts.com/p....html I think I would need what Nissan calls the "insulator assy - strut mounting" & the "bearing - strut mounting." Is there anything else I need to order? I noticed the KYB is 3 parts.

Also, I just used this site because it had good part diagrams... but has anyone found good prices at another site?

front stab links, i think spicer makes a good mount and bearing kit sold at napa, check the whole front end then make ur list good time to deal with everything as u will need an alignment, just the fronts some shops try to sell the 4 wheel when there is nothing they could really do with the back

I've got a question about struts as well. I'm at 190km and for the first time changing my struts. Do i need to buy the strut mount, bearing and rubber insulator or just bearing and mount. I'm changing this tonight so fast response will be really nice
