so i ordered my lowering springs, and started working back to front, and i came across a ton of problems, but the worst was wen i removed the front right strut the nut was rust and jammed, i had to take the whole strut to a pep boys for them to remove it with an impact drill, and replace that once spring with my new ones, luckily it was free... my question is how the **** does all this water get into all these places on this car and rust and corrode the car to crap...!??! im starting to see how cheap this car really is...

Well I assuming that you live in the rust belt of NY.

It is a common location for salt and water to get access to as the water off of your windshield flows under the hood it can collect in the strut housing can cause the problem you described.
