the driver side strut on the 90q was making a noise... a rattle when you drove or pushed up or down on the fender.

so I pulled the strut assembly....and the rubber under the top metal cap was obliterated...

I called scottsdale today and ordererd two new pieces of rubber....

I think we finally got the right parts.... is there a gasket that needs to be ordered as well?

I hope I am describing the problem adequately....people call these parts different things on the board...

this would be on top of the outside of the shock assemble... i guess the rubber would go on the top of the shock assenbly...and then the cap on top of that.

There is an orange "gasket" between the body and the top mount. I assume it's function is to prevent damage/noise from metal-to-metal contact. Oddly, the gaskets for the front and the rear vary in price by over $15 apiece if I recall right. Same material, slightly different outline/mounting.
