strut install

I got a set of new nismo struts and springs and wondered if any of you had tips on how to take out the old ones and put in the new? I kinda know how its gonna go but wasn't sure if I needed to do certain things first, in an order, or things to watch out for? They're going into my S14 and came already assembled. let me know if you have anything.

I'll post after I install if they were worth changing out from the OEM.
