While I was changing my wheels today as I jacked the car and with the strut extended I saw that the banjo boot was torn on the passenger side. It either just tore, or more likely had been concealed in the folds of the boot.

My question is, is it likely that I need a new strut(s), or just a new dust boot? My car is a T model and still rides fairly stiff, I don't feel any excessive ride on bumps. Thanks

You will need new struts before too much longer. Change the boot when you get new susupension.

I can't find the service records to see if they've already been done at some point. I have to go to the dealer to have these new wheels rebalanced. I'll get the records again when I go for that. If they haven't been done, I suppose its time to do it at 75k.

What else?

tension rods look fineI need to look at the bushings on the sways

any other rubber for the Js suspension?

What else did you just order Mike ? - I can't find that post you just made on what you ordered for your suspension
