I'm definitely going to purchase a front and rear strut tower brace for the 300 but I'm a little up in the air what to go with. So basically i want to know what is the best for the dollar. If a pipe is a pipe then is a brace a brace(those cheap ones on ebay)? Then finally why do you have to have aftermarket shocks for the STILLEN brace to work? thanks

a pipe is a pipe, the strut towers on the z32 aren't really a weak point, and unless you are dooing skidpad testing you won't seen any performance improvement, if you want a difference you can feel upgrade the swap bars

Yup, strut bars are strut bars. Sway bars are the most noticeable suspension component to be replaced beside struts/springs IMO.

A rear strut bar is a rear strut bar, now with Z's, the front strut bar DOES matter. If you get a cheap ebay one, it will rub your fuel line and make contact with your hood, believe me, I have experience. There is a little divet in my fuel hardline from an ebay strut bar that I had on for less than a month. There are only two front strut bars that I know of that do not hit the hood and do not hit the fuel line, that is the Ab-flug (which is about impossible to find) and the Carbing (which is about $250).

But you don't have to worry about the fuel lines because you have SS lines.
