Strut Bearings-'94 Q45

Hey, I just bought my Nokico gas struts for my '94 Q, but now Infiniti is telling me that I need to replace the strut bearings? 1) is that a necessity 2) how can I tell if they need replacing? 3) how much do they cost?

You may as well replace them now when everything is apart. They should be cheap.

94 Q dont have strut bearings because it uses a multlink setup not a mcphearson setup....

Theyre probably thinking about the strut mounts, which do need replaced. be sure to replace the rubber boots/bump stops as well!
