Just got the Motordyne 1/2" spacer and JWT/Ztube combo in from everythingg35. I am looking for a strut bar to mount that will fit over the plenum mod. I saw some on a 350Z forum that sat forward of the plenum but they were carbon fiber and very expensive. Anyone know of another alternative? I don't care if the engine cover fits under the bar or not. I tried everythingg35 and they didn't have any suggestions. I was aware that this was going to be an issue but I wanted the 1/2" version for the extra sound under the hood. Thanks in advance.

Should have no problems clearing plenum w/spacer. But forget about the engine cover unless you use one from a 350z.

Cool! So, you think that the Stillen brace will clear w/spacer? That would be great becuase it is only $140 on their site. I'll see if I can get it from everythingg35

Thanks for the info

Actually, I was way off on Stillen's pricing... That said it looks like the Circuit Sports front & rear main underbrace + strut brace can be had for a fair price. THere is a great write up in this forum too Do you know if this will fit the X sedan frame or is this a coupe only mod?

Thanks!

Stillen's website says the front strut bar is for the coupe only, which is B.S. You can see in pictures that this bar is identical to other bars on the market that fit the sedan. I have a "richie" front strut bar that looks identical to the stillen.

I have been sitting on my stillen front tower brace for like 4 months. I have a 5/16 spacer and IT WILL NOT FIT. Dont even try it with a half inch spacer. I have thinking about fabricating some different brackets to raise it from the plenum. Stillen dropped the ball and does not mention that it wont fit with any aftermarket spacers or plenum. Sell mine for $100

Thanks for the info guys. What about the Circuit Sports front & rear main underbrace + strut brace package? Will that those parts fit an X and do you know if the brace will clear 1/2" no cover? I have a call into the distributor but haven't heard back yet.

this is what the end of my bar looks like as it attaches to the mount. I can loosen the nut and bolt and raise the bar up or down 1/2" or so.
