strut bar

I am changing out my tension arms this weekend and wanted to know if there is much benefit in installing a front strut bar while i'm smoothing out the front end. Can anyone who has installed one of these tell me what differences they have seen, felt, or noted or make recommendations?

i just installed a greddy front upper bar last week and i HIGHLY recommend getting one. all of my suspension is stock (that will change when my d2 coilovers arrive). i was really amazed at how much that one bar improved steering response and made it more precise to control. definately worth the money.

do you mean the strut tower bar or the sway bar?

I'm curious myself about adding a strut tower bar. I'm putting in some new shocks/struts and springs. So, I was considering picking one up.

i made a strut tower brace for the front of mine and it seemed much more solid in the front end and made it less cusshy liek it just felt more solid and firm. im planning on getting suspention techniques sway bars too i hear there real good

The nismo power brace really imroves steering as well, and will work with your stock tension rods, too. It used with the strut tower bar would completely stiffen your handling.

i also noticed a difference in my rear strut bar. felt much more precise. i have a $30 ebay strut bar.

Sounds like a good investment that doesnt cost very much. My tension arms came in yesterday and since i replaced my front struts i may as well completed the front end mods. well not complete the mods but you know... I have noticed several different models o tower bars that range in costs but i'll pick one up and let you know
