Strut bar quality

I know many times you get what you pay for, but when buying strut bars, would it be a waste to get some of those $40 deals. I'm no sutocrosser, hardcore drifter, or drag master so I wouldnt see the point in me buying some triangular cusco type set up. I'm mainly wondering if even the cheap ones could stiffen up the chasis a little. Sarcastic posters need not reply.

yo I think you should spend as LITTLE as possible!! I bet you could get a REEEAAAAAALLLLL nice strut bar for like 10 cents and it would stiffen your chassis LIKE FRIGGIN CRAZY MAN!!!

I'm just another broke student looking for a bargain. After losing an auction on a set of used trust stut bars I just about gave up.

no, a lot of crappy strut bars will actually become mangled up under hard driving.

i've got an ebay front strut brace - 15 bucks. fit perfectly, and definitely makes a difference in handling. at that price - if it gets corroded in 2 years, i'll just buy another one

i made my rear strut bar. one long chunk of 1'' square tubing and a saw later i had a strut bar. works like a champ
