strut bar installation

hey, i bought a front strut bar for my 89 240sx my problem is that the bolts are on really tight is there anything anyone suggests to do or put on the bolts to get them off easier.

hmm, they shouldn't be that tight...

front strut mount nuts are torqued to

39-54 N-M 4-5.5 kg-mor 29-40 ft-lbs

rears are torqued to

16-19 N-M1.6-1.9 kg-mor12-14 ft-lb

you can use PB Blaster or something of similar strength/ concentration... soak overnight, then use a 1/2" breaker bar to get them off...

don't use that weaksauce wd-40!

ok FSM says to get new front mounting nuts but most just reuse them & torque to specs...

if u need air tools for these, then i suggest lifting something heavier than your pc's mouse...
