I have a rear strut bar, and you can adjust it to be shorter (tightening together the frame) or longer (pushing the frame to be wider), or somewhere in between (so if unbolted, it moves some what freely.)

How do you guys adjust the strut tower length?

possible pic please. there should be jam nuts in the middle of the bar so that you can extend or shorten then length.but im not sure, i think they work like the lower radius bar from cusco.

sorry if i was unclear. I can adjust the length of it fine, just wondering what is the optimal length?

Is it supposed to be short, long, or just in between ?

I've seen this debate before. Some say to jack the chassis up with the wheels dangling and to adjust the bar outward until tight (which sounded wrong to me, as a strut bar should primarily be a tension member, or they'd better do a lot more work on the design), and others say to mount it snug pulling inward.I've yet to actually feel a difference between having and not having one. Eh, but they look racey, so mine's still in there.
