Ordered the struts and shocks on last Friday and got them on Monday. Very happy except for the white color. Will consider spray painting them black.
Ordered the strut bearing, bumper, and other parts from Infinitipartsusa.com and was told the spacer is a special order item and they will not have them shipped until after 12/21. Seems like I will not have my car ready for the white-xmas.
Now I am debating if I should change the stabilizer connecting rods ($35.35 X 2). I have seen ppl online recommended to have them replaced while I am doing strut replacement. Called infinitipartsusa and the guy said if it ain't broken, it does not need to be replaced. My truck has 100k on it, mostly city/highway drive. only twice off-roaded in death valley. No abnormal noise from the front. Only reason changing the struts is when it is going over 50mph on the freeway and any slight imperfection on the road got magnified on the steeling wheel. Very bad when the road is curving left. It feels like the truck is skipping and still wants to go straight. Scary feeling.
What do you guys think, stabilizer connecting rod or no rod?
By the way, infinitipartsusa's CSR are lazy and not very helpful but the price is right. Go with them only if you know what you are doing.
