Strong Gas Fumes Smell During Acceleration

I have an SOHC and im trying to find out where my gas leak is coming from, when you drive the car and accelerate hard im getting a stong smell of fumes coming into the car, iv checked my fuel lines from the hoses in front all the way under the car and checked the fuel tank but no signs of leaks anywhere! Im also loosing gas slowly! Any other suggestions please let me know!

Probably obvious, but have you checked the injectors? Something as simple as a crack in the o-ring can leak.

yes, Also check your PCV!!!it mught be clogged and fumes escape from other places

on my car, i had the same problem. but it was a very small crack on the hose where the fuel filter is. it was small and all i could do was smell fumes. and as stupid as i was i still drove the car until the crack got bigger than the leak became obvious
