Your questions should to be written in a way that lets us understand what your trying to say. Take some time and reread your posts before you post them. Your first, third, and last sentence made no sense.

If your talking about boring a KA24 out to be a 2.6 l, i would have to say thats not a great idea. Your letting your cylinder walls get pretty thin, which can lead to all types of catastrophic engine failure. Id never bore a KA more than .20, or if i had to, .40.

If your talking about getting the Brian Crower stroker kit that bumps your engine up to something near 2.6, then that would be an expensive way of getting power. I cant see BC making anything that wasnt a good product however. While some people will tell you a stroker kit is a waist because the KA24 already has such a long stroke, i think that this kit would give you a better power range. Also the crank is fully counterweighted which handles high RPMs better than the stock crank.

yellowcar is gonna make the 200whp I think, if b/c made it he damn has it. With supporting mods and its in a 510 he should beat 200 by a few. Tuned and on race gas well over 200 IMHO. But the price he paid I could have killed three of these de's and put diff turbo's/kits on all of them. With over 1100 miles now and no issues other than a boost leak(jb welded nipple to rubber pipe ftmfl... heat expansion is a *****). Options are yours pick one.

rebuild the motor to stock with like .02 over and get some 8.5 comp pistons. that will take plenty of boost.

it really isnt an issue so long as the engine is still in good shape, do a comp test and a leakdown, or just the leak down, now having said that; I would go slam a ton of psi into the motor, but a few psi shouldnt hurt. IF the motor is good.
