OK, so I need to do an engine rebuild. I was looking into stroker kits because I figured if I have to do it, I might as well do it right the first time. Now, I saw the Brian Crower 2.35L stroker kit for about $3400, and I saw the Jun 2.2L stroker kit for $6000. This is what my question is about: why is the 2.2L kit more expensive than the 2.35L, and is it really that much better? I would assume the 2.35L kit would be better because of the larger stroke, but maybe in this case, too much is a bad thing? Thanks for reading

cuz it costs money to have the stroker kit parts made stateside and brought to japan only to have it come back to the usa, you'll pay the markup each time it bounces around. Dunno about the BC kit, but the JUN kit is pretty stout. carillo rods and their own work on the stroke/bore of the system. I haven't seen the BC kit yet so dunno how good they are but JUN and Tomei I've seen and they're pretty sweet.

if i were you i would spent my money on doing a full build but NOT stroke it...that will save you some money and you can put it elsewhere...aka turbo, injectors ect ect ect...

If I were to do just a rebuild and not get a stroker kit, would I have to buy all the parts seperately or is there someone who sells a complete rebuild kit? I think you're right, that there are many other places I could put the extra 4k or so that I'd save in not buying the stroker kit..Thanks for the feedback!
