has anyone considered adding a stroker kit to the vq?

i am thinking of doing this, once the warranty expires of course. i'm not a huge fan of turbos as i prefer the engine to be naturally aspirated, and turning the 3.5L engine into a 4.3L for about the same cost as a turbo is very intriguing. ideally i'd go for a kit which increases the stroke while leaving the bore stock.

what do you all think?

I don't know which stroker kit you found but the one I saw was a 4.3 too. I love the concept but it's damn expensive. I think it was about 7K for parts. Sound right?

Well, probably since it's the power increase that is causing issues.
