I'm not asking, they are here! Finally. So you can make a 2.8L out of you RB26 huh? Well guess what Biotch! I can do the same to my RB25!!! Muhahahahaha!

Thanks to Tomei, the RB saviors. They have created a 2.8L stroker Kit for the RB25! And now that I know the RB26 Valves fit on a RB25! Guess I don't need to get another motor now huh? I don't know if this is new news to some of you but hey now It's here for your eyes to enjoy!http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/gyoumu/pdf/pdf_en.htmScroll down untill you see RB25 - - - - - 2.8L Stroker enjoy

Thats really nice....but whats the price?

If its alot...might as well do other stuff..can still have the same power....

Hmm didn't know that this was new?? If the RB26 crank, rods, and pistons fit the 25 to make it a 26, I figure the 2.8 would also work on the 25. I bet the part numbers are the same for both kits too

yea it is pricy, and yes Kamin I agree w/ getting a new turbo setup for the price, but still - - - -- nice little setup if you wanna make ur 25 unique.

I've heard several times from people on here and SAU that frown on boring the RB25 out to more than 87mm for reliabilities sake like StricNyne posted above. And like Kamin said, .3 L is not a huge displacement increase.

If you were really that desperate for HP (meaning you needed more than 500-600 that has been reliably achieved on a built RB25), you have major cashflow for machine work and the kit, then I want to see someone do it. That would be so bad ***!

honestly the small displacement increase is worthwhile, if u look at the dsport dynocharts from their rb26 when they went rb28 it make a big differance in spool up, i wanna say like a 800 rpm differance, but i could be wrong, main reason i would go with stroker is that they use stronger internals than stock (duh), i personally like to do things a lil differant than most people so thats why i went with the rb26 crank for the .1 differance, but i also use the higher CR of 9.0 to help turbo spool up a lil bit faster, when its all said and done u drive it and not the critics, but like kamin said by droppin that much u could get a INSANE turbo setup that would overcome the power u gain from displacement

Actually when you put it that way...

$4500 retail$3000 hookup (don't ask)

-$1500 H-Beams and Pistons (That would already need to be spent on building the block)

So that means $1500 for a crank and a 2.8. Man I think that is totally worth it!!!!

On another note I wonder if the increased stroke will noticeably affect the revs

but if u count hook ups then u should see pistons and rods as 900. so the upgrade is like 3600.

but whats that tomei upgrade for cooling thing? i was reading the pdf. that option was a bit more

900 maybe for some eagle rods and pistons, but i'm talkin carrillo h-beams and maybe some arias pistons.

And I think the cooling thing is for different pistons. Maybe they build some channels in the pistons for oil to get to??
