Hello All, The previous owner of my wheels decided it would be a great idea to spray them black. I am writing this out because, I couldn't find out exactly what everyone was using to strip their wheels, and I have seen people often ask on here what to use.

Step 1:

Go to your local Walmart and pick some of this up.

It was $8.95 a quart.

Step 2:

Get yourself a bristle brush of some sort and a metal can to pour the stripper in.

Before

After

That is about 10 minutes of letting it soak in.

Step 3:

Find yourself something that you can scrape off the peeling paint with and go to town with it.

You may need to add more coats of the stripper on some of the more difficult areas. Once you got all the paint off you can use a water hose and a towel to clean and dry the wheel.

Finally, here is what the wheel will look like when you are finished.

I did that to two of 4 of my enkei meshies last year, and they came out great.

Considering they had 3 layers of paint, this made them super clean!

I'd take the wheel weights off though, If you don't there will be ugly paint under there too!

Yes I plan on taking the weights off and getting the stick on ones for the inside. Thank you all for your comments though.
